There was no big winner in Friday night’s Mega Millions drawing, causing the jackpot to grow once more – and surpass $1 billion.

No one won matched all six numbers to win the estimated $940 million Mega Millions jackpot Friday. The game’s top prize has now risen to an estimated $1.1 billion, with a cash option of $568.7 million, for the next drawing on Tuesday.

The whopping $1.1 billion jackpot is the third largest that Mega Millions has ever seen and the fifth largest prize in lottery history.

Since Mega Millions’ jackpot was last won in October, the top prize has continued to grow across now 24 consecutive drawings. The odds of winning the game’s jackpot are 1 in 302.6 million.

“Mega Millions has just reached the $1 billion mark again. It’s especially nice to see the jackpot grow throughout the holidays and into the new year,” Pat McDonald, the Ohio lottery director and lead director of the Mega Millions Consortium, said in a Saturday statement. “As the jackpot grows, we encourage our players to keep within their entertainment budget and enjoy this jackpot run right along with us.”
