A now contained four-alarm structure fire burned four neighboring buildings in San Francisco early Tuesday, authorities said.

At least eight residents were displaced due to the blaze and no injuries were reported, according to San Francisco Fire Department lieutenant Jonathan Baxter.

The fire was reported shortly before 6 a.m. Tuesday and was contained over two hours later, Baxter said. He added the fire is currently under investigation as no cause has been determined yet.
