Two people aboard a small plane died after their aircraft crashed into a General Mills plant in Georgia Thursday evening, a report said.

The small Cessna 340 twin engine went down shortly after taking off from Covington Municipal Airport’s runway, 30 miles east of Atlanta, at about 6:45 p.m., WAGA-TV reported, citing officials.

The two victims were the sole occupants of the plane, reports said.

One body had been recovered by late Thursday, but the other was still within the wreckage, the report said.

The aircraft crashed into four trailers at the plant and reportedly exploded on impact. Nobody on the ground was injured, police told the station.

Pictures of the scene published by the station showed thick black smoke rising from the plant and several damaged trailers.
