Fox News continues to smash ratings records and several top hosts have played a huge role.
Fox News has hit 65 consecutive weeks as the most-watched cable news network and host Tucker Carlson has played a huge role in helping reach that accomplishment.
“Fox News Channel host Tucker Carlson pushed his network to yet another week as the most-watched cable news network—marking 65 consecutive weeks at number one. For the week ending May 15th, Tucker Carlson Tonight dominated prime time ratings among viewers 25-54, the key demo most valued by advertisers with an average audience of 461,000 viewers,” Forbes reported.
“Fox News led in prime with an average total audience of 2.224 million viewers, well ahead of rival networks MSNBC and CNN. CNN saw its lowest-rated week of the year in primetime—among total viewers and in the key demo—with none of the network’s shows delivering an audience of more than one million viewers, long considered a benchmark of success for prime time shows. Fox News’ margin over CNN was dramatic—delivering 268% of CNN’s prime time audience for the week,” the report added.
