A New York daycare worker was arrested after he was found with images of child sexual abuse.

Silfredo Castillo Martinez, 32, was charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, according to the New York Police Department.

Police said Martinez worked at the daycare center between July 2011 and May 2022.

They did not confirm the name of the daycare center, but said it is located at 3525 Decatur Ave. in suites #1AA and 1AB. Multiple websites list Lina’s Garden Day Care at that address.

On one website, Silfredo Castillo is listed as a program director at Lina’s. The website also says the center accepts children ages 2 months to 12 years old.

Police said they are trying to get more information on Martinez. They ask anyone with information to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-57-PISTA (74782) for Spanish-speaking witnesses.
