The house I use to rent as a child sold for $220,000 in year 2000. Then in 2011 it sold for $485,000. Today that same house is valued on the market at 1.2 million.
This is just a basic house, nothing fancy.
I can assure you one thing, the next generation will be homeless.
In 20 years this house increased it’s value 7 times over.
Do you understand this is basically what a collapsing economy looks like. There is no way a house should increased it’s value 7 times it’s original value in 20 years.

They have been hiding all the inflation in the housing market.
