Last year, most drives started at the 25, which was where the ball was placed after a touchback.
In 2024 (preseason)
This preseason there were more returns and better average field position — though there has been a wider range of outcomes. The standard touchback now places the ball at the 30.
Kickoffs that were played again due to penalty were excluded.
