Power outages have been reported throughout the state, but the majority of outages are occurring in Northern California, as the National Weather Service has placed flood advisories throughout the area as rain and wind gusts continue.
“Numerous reports of downed trees as winds gusted to over 60 mph in many areas,” the NWS Bay Area said.
The Pacific Gas and Electric Company said Wednesday 144 poles and 73 transformers were damaged and “that number is expected to increase.”
