Former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson has knowledge of Rep. Jim Jordan connecting with Meadows on 1/6.
Politico reported:
She told the committee about a stressed Meadows taking multiple calls during the rally from a secure vehicle; she remembered Trump’s chief of staff asking to connect with Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and Giuliani.
I know that he was on several calls during the rally. And I went over to meet with him at one point, and he had just waved me away, which is out of the ordinary,” Hutchinson recalled.
It is already known that Trump was talking to Rep. Jordan multiple times on 1/6, but what was Jordan talking to Meadows about before the Capitol attack?
Meadows was on the phone with Jordan during Trump’s rally.

The two were likely talking about stopping the certification of the election for Joe Biden, but Jordan has refused to discuss his conversations with the Committee and has tried to smear the investigation at every turn.
Rep. Jordan (R-OH) may have been more involved than previously reported in the plot to overthrow the government.
Hutchinson won’t be able to testify about what was said in that phone conversation, but the fact that it happened is another lead for the Committee to follow.
The surprise hearing could be a very bad development for Jim Jordan.
