There are two multi-vehicle crashes that have shut down Interstate 81 in Schuylkill County.

- The first crash happened around 11 a.m. Monday in the northbound lanes of I-81 between Exit 116/Route 901 and the Minersville exit, Highridge Park Road.
- All lanes of I-81 are shut down in the area.
- It’s not yet clear what caused the crash, but there had been snow in the area.
- The second multi-vehicle crash happened around 12:55 p.m. in the northbound lanes between Exit 107/Route 209 Tremont/Tower City and Exit 119, Highridge Park Road.
- All lanes are closed at the second crash scene as well.
There have been snow squall warnings for much of central and south-central Pennsylvania today.
