Georgia Senator Raphael Warnock has been cozying up to wealthy investors advocating for green energy initiatives just weeks after voting in favor of legislation pouring money into climate change projects.

Warnock, according to the Washington Free Beacon, “raked in cash from wealthy green energy moguls at a series of San Francisco fundraisers” in September.

Some of the fundraisers cited were with wealthy guests who have made it their quest to vilify fossil fuels and come amidst a surge in global energy prices delivering unprecedented pain at the gas pumps for the American people.

The Beacon cites photos from the events showing Warnock raising money with billionaire investor and former Democrat presidential candidate Tom Steyer and biofuels CEO Wade Randlett.

Raphael Warnock’s Green Energy Backers

As the report indicates, Warnock voted in favor of the ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ just weeks prior to the fundraiser with green energy donors.

The parties “highlight the cozy relationship between Democratic political leaders and the lucrative green tech industry,” the Free Beacon writes.

The ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ in reality was a thinly veiled climate change and tax boondoggle.

President Joe Biden described the measure as “the biggest step forward on climate in our history.”

Numerous Democrats touted the climate change initiatives while almost completely ignoring any faux ‘inflation reduction’ benefits.

That ‘biggest step’ includes $360 billion to address climate change and funding “energy-focused climate programs” over 10 years – the largest single investment ever made to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, selling the legislation to the American people as a bill that would lower costs for them at the kitchen table.

Steyer Praises Warnock

Steyer, a billionaire investor in the green energy market, praised the passage of the Inflation Reduction Act by noting he has “dedicate(d) my life to fighting the climate crisis.”

He thanked young activists for pressuring Biden into “signing the largest climate investment in our nation’s history into law.”

Judging by his fundraising efforts with Senator Raphael Warnock, he has high praise for the Georgia Democrat as well.

The Washington Free Beacon report also posted photos of Warnock with his arm around “Defund the Police” advocate Meena Harris, the niece of Vice President Kamala Harris.

“Defund the police and reallocate funds to mental health and social services. This shouldn’t be controversial,” Harris wrote in a 2021 tweet.

In case you felt she was being vague about her comments, Harris reiterated them repeatedly in another social media post.

Warnock is currently engaged in a tight battle with Republican Senate candidate Herschel Walker in Georgia.
