FBI Director Christopher Wray focused on alleged threats made against him and the Bureau by Trump supporters in the aftermath of the raid on Donald Trump’s home, calling them “deplorable and dangerous.”
Wray made the comments at a press conference Wednesday, marking an escalation in attempts by officials to focus attention on the backlash and response rather than the unprecedented search of a former President’s home.
His comments focused on social media posts.
“I’m always concerned about threats to law enforcement,” Wray said. “Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter who you’re upset with.”
He added threats against him and FBI officials are “deplorable and dangerous.”
‘Deplorable’ being an interesting choice of words.
Cry bully fabrication.

Christopher Wray Upset About Threats Following FBI’s Trump Raid
While Christopher Wray was willing to comment specifically on the threats facing the FBI, he declined to comment further on the investigation or the raid on Trump’s home.
Prior to his statements referencing the “deplorable” threats, Wray referred reporters to the Department of Justice.
“I’m sure you can appreciate that’s not something I can talk about, so I would refer you to the department,” he deferred.
When prompted to comment on whether he thought the FBI raid on Trump would motivate supporters to engage in activity similar to the January 6 riot, Wray replied by denouncing violence on all sides.
“Violence against law enforcement is not the answer, no matter what anyone is upset about or who they are upset with,” he replied.

Pointing Fingers
I opined on Wednesday that the media, Democrats, and law enforcement officials appear to be engaged in a coordinated effort to shift focus from the FBI’s actions to those of Trump supporters, painting them with a broad brush of engaging in violent rhetoric in response to the raid.
“While the obvious assessment is that the FBI and DOJ’s actions … are politically motivated, the left has slowly morphed their focus from an unprecedented assault on a former President into specious claims that supporters of Trump are itching to react violently,” I wrote.
Preemptively linking rhetoric to violence is a marked shift for law enforcement officials that have failed on multiple fronts to alert the public to violent rhetoric involving people that eventually became mass shooters – the Buffalo, Parkland, and Pittsburgh synagogue shooters come to mind.

The left has launched an all-out attack on the right in this country, culminating in the FBI raid on Trump’s home, and the takeaway here is the response from people who are outraged.
Meanwhile, the DOJ and FBI are trying to skirt responsibility for the raid by pointing the finger at each other. Director Wray refers comments to the DOJ, but the DOJ is placing blame for the raid at Wray’s feet.
One senior Justice Department source told Newsweek that the FBI made the decision to green-light the raid.
“I know it’s hard for people to believe, but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI,” the source said.
#TrumpRaid was just routine law enforcement
HA!Even if you believe this
“seeking to avoid any media circus”
Or this
“no political motive”
(I don’t)
The only alternative is such naive ignorance they should not have badges or guns

Another source told Newsweek that the FBI was surprised by the backlash to the raid and that they were actually “seeking to avoid any media circus.”
Such ignorance is ‘deplorable and dangerous.’
