The winning numbers for Powerball’s Wednesday night drawing have been released. And lottery players are checking their tickets.

Powerball’s estimated jackpot climbed to $439 million, with a cash option of $237.3 million, for Wednesday’s drawing.

No one has won the game’s top prize since Nov. 19, according to Powerball – causing the jackpot to grow higher and higher in recent months. The odds of winning a Powerball jackpot remain extremely slim, standing at about 1 in 292.2 million.

The winning numbers for Wednesday night’s drawing are 6, 15, 22, 42, 47, and the Powerball is 26. The Power Play was 3X.

How do I play Powerball?

To enter Powerball, players select five numbers from one to 69 for the white balls, and one number from one to 26 for the red Powerball. You can choose numbers on your own or let the lottery terminal randomly pick for you.

To win the jackpot, you need to match the numbers for all five white balls and the red Powerball.
