PLEASANT VIEW, Tenn. — Five girls and an 18-year-old woman died Sunday morning when their car rolled over after a collision with another vehicle in Tennesee, authorities said.
Robertson County EMS Director Brent Dyer said in a news release the ages of the six appeared to range from 1 to 18.
The crash happened at about 2 a.m. in Pleasant View near exit 24 on Interstate 24. The interstate was closed for hours but has been fully re-opened by mid-day on Sunday.
The six, along with two adults, a man and woman, were traveling in a red Toyota Camry. The two adults were injured. The woman, who is in critical condition, was taken to a local hospital, and the man was taken another nearby hospital. The man in the other vehicle was not injured.
