It was just one year ago that Democrat Representative Cori Bush celebrated Independence Day by denouncing 4th of July celebrations and claiming “black people still aren’t free” in America.
Bush made her anti-American comments on Twitter, suggesting America is only a land of the free for white people.
“When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people,” she falsely claimed.
“This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free.”
That’s right – the black woman elected to Congress by voters doesn’t think black people are free. She’s clearly oppressed with her $174,000 annual salary for part-time work.

If you were wondering if Cori Bush might have simply been having a bad day last 4th of July, she wasn’t.
Just two months prior, the ‘Squad’ member was angered over a speech delivered by black Republican Senator Tim Scott, who argued that America is not inherently racist.
Scott (R-SC), in his rebuttal speech to President Joe Biden’s address to Congress at the time, accused Democrats of pushing a racial divide by pretending America hasn’t made any progress since the days of slavery.
“Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backward to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination,” Scott said.

Scott added, “And it’s wrong to try to use our painful past to dishonestly shut down debates in the present.”
So how did Cori Bush react? She tried using accusations of racism to shut down debate, of course.
“Our communities wouldn’t have needed to spark a national movement to save Black lives if America weren’t racist AF,” Bush tweeted.
‘AF’ is an acronym for “as f***.”

Squad Goals
The Squad members like to pretend they’re a little band of superheroes ready to save the allegedly oppressed in America. Hence the nickname.
They all have superpowers, but the problem is they all have the same power.
Race vision. Everything they look at and observe happening in America can be explained, in their minds, as being a product of a country that is ‘racist AF.’
Being a one-trick pony is a superpower, I guess. Or is it a ‘one-horse pony,’ Mr. Biden?
Speaking of President Biden, Bush blasted his State of the Union speech earlier this year, pointing out that he failed to mention “black lives once.”
With all due respect, Mr. President. You didn’t mention saving Black lives once in this speech.
All our country has done is given more funding to police. The result? 2021 set a record for fatal police shootings.
Defund the police. Invest in our communities. https://t.co/t0n0EpHMwd

There’s that superpower again.
I’m quite certain his speech didn’t contain equivalent phrases about ‘saving white lives’ or ‘saving Hispanic lives’ either.
The ‘defund the police’ advocate has repeatedly accused police officers of being racist, but shells out vast somes for private protection for herself, spending over $230,000 on security detail in 2021.

Bush, in an interview with CBS News one month after her 4th of July post, argued that it’s not hypocritical for her to spend money on private security while trying to defund the police, telling critics to “suck it up” and suggesting any judgment of her actions means people ‘want her to die.’
“They would rather I die?” she said. “You would rather me die? Is that what you want to see?”
