On Sunday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) ripped Sen. Joe Manchin and claimed that Manchin is intentionally sabotaging President Biden.

Sen. Sanders said on ABC’s This Week:
He has sabotaged the president’s agenda. No, look, if you check the record, six months ago, I made it clear that you have people like Manchin, Sinema to a lesser degree, who are intentionally sabotaging the president’s agenda.
What the American people want. What a majority of us in the Democratic caucus want. Nothing new about this. The problem was that we continue to talk to Manchin like he was serious, he was not. This is a guy who’s a major recipient of fossil fuel money, a guy who has received campaign contributions from 25 Republican billionaires –
…..
In my humble opinion, Manchin represents the very wealthiest people in this country, not working families in West Virginia or America.
If Joe Manchin was serious about getting something done, he would have offered a series of proposals and stuck with them. Instead, each time Senate Democrats find a way to give Manchin what he wants, he rejects it.
Sen. Sanders was correct in the respect that this makes Manchin look like he is sabotaging Biden and not negotiating in good faith.
The best thing that could happen to the Democratic Party would be if they gained one or two Senate seats because a one-seat gain would weaken the presidency of Joe Manchin, and a two-seat gain would end the ability of Manchin and Sinema to block filibuster reform.
The Senate Democratic caucus has had enough of Joe Manchin.
