Beto O’Rourke was celebrated as a “progressive hero” on ‘The View’ as he refused to commit to any limitations on abortion including up to “nine months.”

O’Rourke, the Democratic candidate for governor of Texas, made an appearance last week on the ladies’ gossip program.

Guest co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin, a former staffer for Vice President Mike Pence, took the gushing into maximum overdrive during the appearance when she began questioning the perpetual election loser about abortion.

“You’re a progressive hero. There are so many people around the country who admire you and your leadership,” Griffin prompted.

“Do you believe in any limitations on abortion, whether it’s the third trimester, or up until even the final months, nine months?” she asked.

The subsequent gymnastics out of O’Rourke on the answer was enough to make one choke on their dental dam.

“I think Roe v. Wade, which we should remind ourselves is still the law of the land today, is the … the reference point that I would look to, and the … the way I think I can best express this is that I trust women,” he replied.

“We should all trust women to make their own decisions that are in their best interest for themselves, for their health care, and for their future,” he added, receiving a smattering of applause.

Beto O’Rourke Won’t Stand In the Way of a 9 Month Abortion

The fact that Griffin pointed out that she was specifically asking about abortion limitations “up until even … nine months” seems to suggest Beto O’Rourke does not oppose abortion even right up until the moment of birth.

Feel free to Google fact-checkers and their response to whether or not mainstream Democrats actually support such a radical view of abortion – they’ll tell you those claims are false.

Nothing to see here, you understand. But here Beto is, refusing to answer the question.

There was a time that the Democrat Party liked to consistently argue in favor of abortion by claiming it would be ‘safe, legal, and rare.’

Former Democrat presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard raised the ire of abortion zealots when during the 2020 campaign she used that very phrase … and was quoting Hillary Clinton and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, who actually coined the phrase.

Beto’s Radical Views

This isn’t the first time Beto O’Rourke has made comments so absurd it’d make a wannabe rock star furry blush.

During the same 2020 presidential campaign, O’Rourke suggested to a man on the campaign trail that his mother had the right to abort him all the way up until birth.

“My question is this: I was born Sept. 8th, 1989, and I want to know if you think on Sept. 7th, 1989, my life had no value,” a voter asked.

“Of course, I don’t think that,” O’Rourke replied, but later added it was “a decision for the woman to make.”

His views have been consistent on this matter.

Prior to being confronted by the aforementioned voter, O’Rourke was asked about third-trimester abortions and replied, “That should be a decision that the woman makes. I trust her.”

Also during his appearance on ‘The View,’ the Democrat candidate attacked his Republican opponent, Governor Greg Abbott, claiming he is “attacking women,” “attacking democracy,” and launching an “attack on transgender kids.”

Which is about as real as the name ‘Beto.’
