Quick cheat-sheet to understand better the Fed jargon:
- “Love tap” = a strong kick to the nuts
- “Bring supply and demand in balance” = the destruction of businesses, wealth, families, and individuals
- “Soft landing” = a recession
- “Softish landing” = a deep painful depression
- “Transitory” = persistent
- “Landing” = crashing
- “Quantitative tampering” = market sell (dump at bid price)
- “Tightening” = buying puts on your portfolio
