PHOENIX — People often assume that Ericka Solis opposes abortion because she is a Latina and devout Catholic.
It’s a common perception of Latinos, who are heavily Catholic.
But that view is not an accurate picture of the nuanced views towards abortion and abortion rights among many Latinos, including Solis, new polling shows.
