A lawsuit filed by Stacey Abrams alleging “gross mismanagement” of Georgia’s elections has been tossed out by a federal judge appointed by former President Barack Obama.

U.S. District Judge Steve Jones had tossed a majority of claims made in the lawsuit over a year ago, and the remainder was squashed on Friday.

Abrams’ group – Fair Fight Georgia – filed the lawsuit four years ago following her loss to Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.

She regularly refused to acknowledge her loss and in the lawsuit, contended her election efforts were done in by massive voter suppression and racial discrimination.

“Although Georgia’s election system is not perfect, the challenged practices violate neither the constitution nor the VRA [Voting Rights Act of 1965],” Judge Jones decreed.

Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger celebrated the ruling as a “win for all Georgia election officials who dedicate their lives to safe, secure and accessible elections.

“Stolen election and voter suppression claims by Stacey Abrams were nothing but poll-tested rhetoric not supported by facts and evidence,” he added.

Stacey Abrams After Lawsuit Thrown Out: ‘Hard-Won Victory’

To absolutely nobody’s surprise, Stacey Abrams responded to her lawsuit being thrown out of court by declaring the circumstances surrounding it to be a big win.

“The conduct of this trial and preceding cases and legislative actions represent a hard-won victory for voters who endured long lines, burdensome date of birth requirements, and exact match laws that disproportionately impact Black and Brown voters,” she tweeted.

“There’s no denying voter suppression under Brian Kemp and Brad Raffensperger,” Abrams added, still not providing any ounce of evidence illegal activity occurred.

To reiterate Jones’ ruling to make it crystal clear: “The challenged practices violate neither the constitution nor the VRA.”

Reality is a very difficult thing for Abrams to grasp.

Also Losers – The White House

Other losers following the decision by the Obama-appointed federal judge include White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre and President Biden.

Jean-Pierre supported Abrams’ false claims of voter suppression by arguing the 2018 gubernatorial election in Georgia had been ‘stolen.’

“Reminder: Brian Kemp stole the gubernatorial election from Georgians and Stacey Abrams,” she fired off in a post in April of 2020.

The judge ruled otherwise. Will her tweet be slapped with a warning or fact-check?

Biden, meanwhile, has referred to the Georgia voting system as “Jim Crow in the 21st Century.”

The White House was all in on promoting Abrams’ false claims and it took an Obama judge of all people to point out the reality.

Abrams has repeatedly and falsely asserted the 2018 governor’s race in Georgia was stolen from her, even going so far as too, on multiple occasions, insist she actually won.

“Just because you win doesn’t mean you won,” she said a year ago at a campaign event for another gubernatorial loser, former Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe.

She told supporters at a luncheon in Houston in 2019 that she wasn’t “delusional” mere moments after declaring “we won” the Georgia gubernatorial race.

Funny how the same people who say casting doubts on our elections is a ‘threat to democracy’ are the ones who insist their elections were rigged and engage in litigation to stop voter integrity laws.

Sounds like insurrectionist rhetoric to me.
