The day before he was expected to testify before the grand jury in Fulton County, GA, Rudy Giuliani asked for a delay.

The Day Before He Is Supposed To Testify, Rudy Giuliani Challenges His Subpoena

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported:

A new court filing shows that Giuliani will challenge his subpoena, technically known as a certificate of material witness, at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in front of Fulton Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney. That’s roughly the same time he’s slated to testify before the 23-person special grand jury.

It was not immediately clear why Giuliani was seeking the delay, though he’ll need to explain that to McBurney. Giuliani’s attorney, Robert J. Costello, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Things Are Getting Real In Georgia For Trump And His Accomplices

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) is also trying the old challenge the subpoena trick. Graham is trying to get the case moved to federal court, where he hopes to have a more favorable outcome.

There is a growing belief that Fulton County DA Fani Willis will indict Trump and many of his co-conspirators who illegally pressured Georgia election officials to overturn the election for him.

The situation has become serious enough that Graham and Giuliani are trying to dodge testifying, which is something that innocent people who have done nothing wrong do.

It is getting very serious in Georgia, and Rudy Giuliani is looking for a way out.
