Picking up a prom dress
Moreno was driving with her daughter, Amy, a senior in high school, to get her hair done and pick up Amy’s prom dress when the shooting happened, Moreno’s family told NBC Dallas-Fort Worth.
The family learned about Moreno’s death via a text sent by Moren’s daughter to a family group chat, Michelle Rodriguez, Moreno’s youngest daughter, told the outlet.

Rodriguez said her mother was excited to celebrate prom with her daughter. “She was like ‘Oh we finally get to see her get ready’ and she didn’t even get to see it happen,” Rodriguez said.
