Puerto Rico wakes to another ‘nightmare’ after Hurricane Fiona

The people of Puerto Rico are beginning to piece their lives back together after Hurricane Fiona punched out power, washed out roads and bridges, and damaged homes. It’s a frighteningly familiar feeling for many on the island.

Luciano Bozzolo’s truck races toward Puerto Rico’s mountainous interior. He’s on a mission to deliver generators, food, water and other vital supplies to areas ravaged by Hurricane Fiona.

“We had a friend call asking for help,” Bozzolo, 43, told USA TODAY by phone as he drove Tuesday.
