The people of Puerto Rico are beginning to piece their lives back together after Hurricane Fiona punched out power, washed out roads and bridges, and damaged homes. It’s a frighteningly familiar feeling for many on the island.
Luciano Bozzolo’s truck races toward Puerto Rico’s mountainous interior. He’s on a mission to deliver generators, food, water and other vital supplies to areas ravaged by Hurricane Fiona.
“We had a friend call asking for help,” Bozzolo, 43, told USA TODAY by phone as he drove Tuesday.
