Tornado tears through Springdale, Arkansas

HE SAYS THAT THE BMSEA CAME DOWN THROUGH THE CEILING WHEN THE STORM CAME THROUGH. YOU CAN SEE THE SHEETROCK IS SPLATTERED ALL OVER THE FRONT OF THIS HOME. AND IN THESE BRICKS ACTUALLY LINED THE ROOF OF HIS GARAGE AND HERE THEY ARE, BLOWN OFF THE HOME AND SHATTERED. YOU KNOW IT. IT WAS. IT WAS OVER IN LIKE 20 30 SECONDS. MAX AND IT JUST KIND OF WENT AWAY. AND THEN I SAID, WELL, I BETTER CHECK AROUND BECAUSE NO LIGHTS AORNYTHING. AND. AND THAT’WHS EN I SAW THE TWO BEFORE STICKING THROUGH THE THROUGH THE CEILING AND THAT KIND OF STUFF THAT CAN BE REPLACED. I DON’T KNOW ABOUT MY OWN LITTLE DOGS, YOU KNOW, BUT THEY, YOU KN,OW I. SO WE ALL GOT THROUGH IT. OK, SO THE TREE AT HIS NEIGHBOR’S HOUSE WAS UPROOTED AND THEN TOPPLED OVER, CRUSHING THE SIDE OF HIS HOME. MATT MENDENHALL SAYS HE WAS HIDING WITH SHI DOGS IN THAT SPACE, RIGHT BETWEEN THOSE TWO TREES THAT FELL INSIDEIS H BEDROOM CLOSET. HE SAYS ATTH AMAZINGLY, HE’S ALIVE, AND HE IS THANKFUL FOR THAT. An tornado the National Weather Service says was at least an EF-2 tore through Springdale Wednesday morning. Homes DamagedNearly every home on Fairway Circle off Highway 71 was hit by the storm.The strong winds tore apart buildings and uprooted trees. Some of those huge trees toppled over and onto people’s roofs.
