U.S. stocks wavered Wednesday, with major indexes moving between gains and losses after selling off sharply the previous day.
The S&P 500 was recently up 0.2%, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.1%, or about 35 points. The technology-focused Nasdaq Composite was about flat.
