A diamond ring Elvis Presley gifted to a backup singer and a rhinestone necklace belonging to Marilyn Monroe are among at least 400 rare celebrity items being sold at an auction on 31 August.
Brigitte Kruse, Founding Member of Kruse GWS Auctions, says the collection of items has some “pretty powerful pieces”, including a copy of Hamlet owned by Abigail Folger, one of the victims of the Manson family’s Tate-LaBianca murders.
Presley’s ring could be sold for up to $35,000-$65,000, according to Kruse GWS Auctions.
